Robert J. Dodaro
Father Robert J. Dodaro, OSA is an American academic. He presently serves as the President of the Institutum Patristicum Augustinianum in Rome, where he is also a Professor of Theology.〔http://www.patristicum.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=7&Itemid=30〕〔http://humbleapproach.templeton.org/LightFromLight/RobertDodaro.html〕He is in addition a Professor of Patristic theology at the Pontifical Lateran University. He is a specialist in the writings of St Augustine of Hippo. He also serves as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of the ''Augustinus-Lexikon'', a Visitor of Ralston College, and on the Editorial Advisory Council of ''Dionysius''.〔http://www.augustinus.de/bwo/dcms/sites/bistum/extern/zfa/lexikon/herausgeber.html〕 His ''Christ and the Just Society in the Thought of Augustine'' was published by Cambridge University Press in 2004, and he was in addition a Co-Editor of ''Augustine: Political Writings'', a collection of letters and sermons by Augustine that deal with political matters, and also of ''Augustine and His Critics'', a collection of essays in honour of Gerald Bonner. Father Dodaro is a Catholic Priest. He was raised at 33rd and Utica in Brooklyn, New York. He is a proud graduate of New Utrecht HS where he was the kicker on the football team.
